A Letter to a Prospective Client: July 11, 2010
To lay out the basics, I will tell you a little about myself and my approach.
I am Simply Cleaner, a budding, earth friendly, cleaning service in Rockingham NC. I am still learning about owning and being a business, and about sustainability, so I am always open to suggestions and I am flexible to your wants and needs.
I am mainly my only employee but I have a few part time helpers who I know and trust, and who have experience cleaning.
My cleaning is a gentle clean because my products are non-toxic, organic, homemade by yours truly, and they are not very harsh to your environment. There will be no need to open a window while I am cleaning, hardly a need for gloves, and no need to evacuate small children and animals. How ever gentle it may be, my cleaning is a thorough and disinfecting clean.
While I am cleaning you may notice a bit of vinegar in the air because some of my products contain this. It is not a smell that lingers, it will leave soon after I do.
If the need for a harsher chemical arrives, depending on the situation, I may ask you to supply the product. Otherwise, I supply my own materials. The first clean is a major deep clean. I prefer to come back on a regular basis to maintain the cleanliness of the space.
